On the morning of September 30, the first congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Association for the term 2021-2026 was held with the theme “Accompanying Ho Chi Minh City to become the logistics center of the region” on the online platform.
HLA Association was officially established on July 8, 2021, according to Decision No. 2474 of HCM City People’s Committee. At the congress, the list of Executive Committee of 10 comrades from enterprises operating in their field in HCM city was agreed. Ms. Dang Thi Minh Phuong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of MP Logistics Joint Stock Company – holds the position of Chairman of the Association; Mr. Huynh Van Cuong, Vice Chairman; Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan, Vice President, and General Secretary.
Addressing the congress, Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee. In addition to the contributions of businesses, the Institute for Training and International Cooperation (IEC), Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport is also an official member of the Association and will make a significant contribution to the training, capacity building and supply of highly qualified, skilled and proficient human resources in foreign languages to create a strong logistics industry in Ho Chi Minh City and turn this industry into a spearhead economic sector, in line with the development project of the City People’s Committee, Ho Chi Minh City.
