Recently, International Education and Cooperation Institute (IEC), HCMC University of Transport has announced the list of outstanding students who won the entrance scholarships in 2021. This is an annual scholarships for students who were admitted to the university’s international joint Bachelor programs.
After a careful review and evaluation based on students’ average score in grade 12, national high school exam score, IELTS score and other criteria, the university has selected outstanding students to win scholarships with a total value of up to 210,000,000 VND.
Tran Minh Yen outstandingly won the Valedictorian scholarship worth 50,000,000 VND. She achieved IELTS 6.5 and national high school exam score of 26.4.
Two Honor scholarships worth 20,000,000 each went to Trinh Khanh An (IELTS 7.5, national high school exam score of 22.6) and Diep Tat Tho (IELTS 7.5, national high school exam score of 23.5).
Next, 5 Companion scholarships (10,000,000 VND/person) were awarded to Tran Thi Minh Thu (IELTS 5.5, national high school exam score of 25.85), Nguyen Nhat Ngan (IELTS 5.5, national high school exam score of 25.5) , Le Huynh Truc Anh (national high school exam score of 25.4), Tran Nhu Duc (IELTS 5.5, national high school exam score of 25.1), and Tran Phuong Nam (national high school exam score of 24.85).
The Provincial Excellent Student scholarship (10,000,000 VND/person) belonged to 4 students: Ha Thi Phuong Thanh, Huynh Ngoc Gia Minh, Le Trieu Thanh An, and Cao Khanh Ngan.
The Excellent Students at Schools for the Gifted scholarships (10,000,000 VND/person) belonged to Huynh Ngoc Gia Minh, Le Trieu Thanh An, Cao Khanh Ngan, Le Nguyen Phuoc Loc, and Bui Vo Minh Thu.
And the IELTS 5.5 Encouragement scholarship (5,000,000 VND/person) belonged to Le Anh Minh, Ta Vo Minh Nhat, Trinh Khanh An, Tran Nhu Duc and Huynh Ngoc Gia Minh.
Each student can only receive 1 scholarship with the highest value.
