Say farewell to students transferring to Tongmyong University, South Korea

On the evening of December 7, students from intake 19 in Logistics and Port Management flied to Tongmyong University, South Korea for the second stage of the program after completing their first 2 years at HCMC University of Transport.

These 28 transfer students have received support from IEC to complete all the necessary procedures to leave for Korea. 26 of them departed from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, and 2 from Noi Bai International Airport.

Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Dean of International Education and Cooperation Institute and several IEC staff were present at the airport to award scholarships, give gifts and say farewell to them.

There, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh gave flowers and special scholarships from Tongmyong University to 3 students with outstanding achievements. The FULL Scholarships (100% of tuition fees for 2 years studying at Tongmyong University) was granted to Le Thuy Truc Ly and 2 50% tuition fee scholarships to Bui Thanh Uyen and Dao Quang Hieu.

Intake 19 students also received a souvenir of Vietnam flag pin. This gift is like a word of encouragement from IEC Institute to the students hoping they will stay focused and work hard on the learning journey ahead as well as always confidently express their national pride with international friends.
